ABOUT ME! 

Hi, my name is Deepa! I am a senior at Westford Academy and one of the editor-in-chiefs at the Ghostwriter, our school newspaper. I love writing features, covering town politics, and learning more about the community!

The Ghostwriter
   
   When most people hear these words, what immediately comes to mind is a writer who anonymously writes for others. Four years ago, I would have thought this too. Now, I think of friendships formed, late-night editing sessions, and inspiring interviews. Though I would have never expected it, these two words - the name of our student-led publication - have ended up defining so much of my high school experience and growth.

I’ve also realized that being a member of the Ghostwriter does mean writing for others, just in a different way. We write for the community around us, for students whose voices aren’t always heard, and of course, for ourselves. 

 

Above all, I am so thankful that being part of the Ghostwriter has given my love for writing a purpose, uplifting other voices and sharing my own in the process. ​
